The Small Cell Technician reports to the Project Manager covering multiple geographical locations within the United States. Duties include: 

  • Experience working in and operating various types of bucket trucks
  • Basic use and care of hand tools and mechanical equipment
  • Recognizing safety hazards and performing duties in a safe manner
  • Responsible for quality and safety of all work being performed on site
  • Responsible for insuring the prompt completion of all job duties in a safe manner while achieving high quality standards
  • Requires a thorough knowledge of wireless site construction standards and practices




  • 2-3 years industry experience in small cell environment
  • Knowledge of electrical installation, and wiring of disconnects, and installing antennas, radios, and other RF components
  • Knowledge of basic grounding installation for RF, and electrical components
  • Current First Aid AED/CPR Certification
  • Current RF Awareness Certification
  • OSHA 10 a plus
  • Valid Driver's License - Class A or B CDL license a plus


Preferred Experience: 

  • Working knowledge of Anritsu Sweep Gear, Fiber Testing equipment and Sun-sight Antenna Alignment Tool
  • Experience with building, installing, and sweeping with a variety of RF connectors
  • Strong communication skills dealing with Carrier NOCS, and client Service support bridges
  • Knowledge of Excel, and the Microsoft Office Suite


  • Ability to display good judgment, ambition, good work ethic, positive attitude, reliability and a team mentality
  • Must have the ability to travel extensively and support the teams and assigned projects within the regions assigned
  • Ability to work designated schedule, as well as maintain attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to analyze situations accurately and adopt the appropriate course of action
  • Ability to communicate ideas both verbally and in writing
  • Must have the ability to follow instructions accurately and complete the assigned course of action.
  • Ability to lead a team, and prioritize daily field activities, and communicate with the Project Managers on a daily basis. (Job dailies, JSA's, etc.)



  • Able to lift a minimum of 60 lbs
  • Able to work in outdoor environment exposed to varying high or low temperatures
  • Must have sufficient physical agility to walk, climb, stand, crawl, and stretch on a continuing basis
  • Able to work at high heights, up to 40 to 75 feet above the ground
  • Able to travel 90% of the time
